Kenya’s Francis Kibiwott took the men’s race and compatriot Pauline Wangui topped the women’s field in the 14th running of the Nagano Marathon on Sunday.
Kibiwott crossed the finish line at Minami Nagano Athletic Park in a race record time of 2 hours, 9 minutes, 5 seconds, five seconds ahead of Silas Sang. Kenyans swept the men’s podium, with Moses Kangogo taking third in 2:10:53.
