Fukushima takes women’s 200 meters for double at nationals

Chisato Fukushima completed a double with a victory in the women’s 200 meters Sunday, and this time it was no contest as she blew away the field a day after winning the 100 by the slimmest of margins at the national championships.
Yuki Ebihara, meanwhile, cleared the A qualifying standard in the women’s javelin for a ticket to the London Games in what will be her first Olympic appearance. The five-time national champ set a Japan record of 62.36 meters for her first victory in two years.
