5 Stocks With Big Insider Buying

Category : Business, Stocks

Category : Business, Stocks

NEW YORK (TheStreet) — Morgan Stanleyshares look more attractive than those of Goldman Sachs on a short-term basis, according to a report published Friday from JPMorgan analyst Kian Abouhossein.

Morgan Stanley shares have fallen 11.03% year to date through Thursday versus a 7.34% gain for Goldman. As a result, Morgan Stanley now trades at 40% of estimated 2013 price-to-net assert value versus 70% for Goldman. Moody’s has said it may lower Morgan Stanley’s credit rating to just one notch above junk.

Despite Morgan Stanley’s underperformance, it has not been a favorite with analysts. The company is widely seen as having greater vulnerability than peers to credit losses in Europe. Also, Moody’s Investors Service has said it may lower Morgan Stanley’s credit rating by as much as three notches–to just one notch above a junk rating. …
