After crops were decimated by one of the worst droughts on record, a renewed decline in oil prices and a potential reduction in the ethanol blend requirement in the U.S. may lop the top off the soaring prices so desparately needed to offset their withered supply. Corn bulls counter that argument however, saying that despite the reduced fuel needs, the demand for corn from livestock farmers will continue to be unyielding, because animals have to eat. 4 comments!
