Pharmacyclics’s (PCYC) and J&J’s (JNJ) ibrutinib for chronic lymphocytic leukemia slowed the progression of the blood cancer when used alone and with Roche’s Rituxan in early to mid-stage trials. On its own, ibrutinib stopped the disease worsening for 26 months in 96% of untreated patients and in 75% of those that had relapsed or were at risk of doing so. (PR) Post your comment!
